Unconquered 5.19 – After Loss to NCSU, What Now for Seminoles?

Jason Staples (@DocStaples) breaks down Florida State’s loss to NC State and where things go from here. As is usually the case, things are rarely as good or bad as they seem, and Florida State is still the same team that challenged Bama in the opener. But situational improvements need to be made or this team will continue to fall short of its potential. The best sign is that James Blackman looks like the real deal at quarterback. Discussion of the failures of the defense, the state of the offensive line, and the running backs.

No 18 on offense for the foreseeable future which means at least one wasted timeout in the offense per half. How does that give you comfort that they’ll succeed vs Miami/@UF?

That DL that can’t get their hands up against such an “elite” passer? If they knew they weren’t getting home why weren’t they coached to try and make an impact?

Excellent! I always learn nuance of what is REALLY happening behind the action. From one former Walk-On to another, thanks for taking the time to do this.

I’m recommending this to some friends who are long-term Seminole Fans. Be well and God Bless.
