Unconquered 5.35 – Inches Away from Winning or from Getting Blown Out?

Florida State had the ball in position to take the lead late in the fourth quarter at Clemson only to lose by 17. That’s pretty much the FSU season in a nutshell, and there were numerous moments in this one that serve nicely as microcosms of the 2017 season. Lots of discussion of good and bad signs from the Clemson game, including some mailbag at the end of the episode.

Game after game the past three years FSU plays from behind. I swear Jimbo thinks points in the second half are worth more than those in the first half.
I know he doesn’t actually feel this way, but if we keep doing this ( start slow) it stands to reason you will lose half your games.
You just can’t keep digging a whole then making half time adjustments.
How can FSU be smart at half time adjustments but look so bad at the start of the game?
Is it the same coaches making the game plan and making adjustments.
