Old wounds were reopened tonight as Miami managed to come from behind to beat Florida State by the especially hated score of 28-27. Much of the game went exactly as expected, with the result boiling down to turnovers, a key decision by the officiating crew, and two fourth-down touchdowns against FSU true freshman DBs. Nevertheless, fans got a little glimpse at Willie Taggart’s style of approaching a rivalry game, and the team appears closer to turning the corner in terms of execution on both sides of the ball.
